The platforms used for these shoes contain a "light up", battery operated mechanism. The light is operated when pressure is applied on the front part of the foot bed, resulting in an intermittent flashing effect, which is an essential element to the design of this product. The battery for this product is expected to last for approximately 100 hours of constant, continuous use and, although not replaceable, will be sufficient to enable long term wearability. To maintain in good condition, always store this product in the felt pouch provided when not in use.
